How to renumber the take parts?

Post by Vadium »

Hi!

I have recorded a several takes in 1 file (yes, multychannel). Then I split this file to several takes, but in Reaper each take seems with same number in the name. And after edit it's difficult to understand, which take used in the edit before/after crossfade. Is it possible to renumber each take? Is it possible in the demo version? (in the take number popup menu the take number item appears grey and seems unavailable)

Best regards,
Vadim

Click to select the take, place markers where you want to split the take and execute:

Edit => EDITING => Split => No crossfade @ => Markers, into subtakes

Regular track group markers.

Markers => SET => Track group => @ cursor
