Audio insert help! "Invalid Operation in Group"

Hi all,

I'm new to Reaper and giving Cohler Classical a try. I'm trying to import Broadcast Wave files recorded in Logic into a new project and I keep receiving a "Invalid Operation in Group" message. I can't find anyone mentioning this error online in either Cohler Classical or Reaper forums.

I've tried opening a blank project with no track groups and individually inserting each file as a new track, and it works for the first track, but then adding audio to a new track gets the same error. I can insert any number of files on a single track, but not on two tracks.

Reaper/Cohler also crashes sometimes when trying this.

Has anybody seen this problem before?

You cannot use the REAPER innate functions for loading audio in Cohler Classical, because REAPER is not designed for multi-track, track-group audio.

Media loading is accomplished in CC with one click (like every other function in CC) using

File => Load audio files

It also sounds like you have not read the Quick Start Guide to properly understand the new paradigm that CC uses, as the only product in the world designed specifically for classical music.
